Cathy Durgin, RN, BSN
Heritage Home Health Care is owned by Cathy Durgin RN, BSN. Cathy graduated in 1978 from Salem State College with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. She worked several years in the hospital, but found that she was much happier working in the community with elders. For the past 32 years, Cathy has continued with her passion of community nursing. She began Heritage Home Health Care in 2006 so that she could provide quality care to elders in their home.
Cathy decided to make it a family business in 2012. Her daughter, Kate, who also graduated from nursing school, has joined the business as the nurse manager. Cathy's other two children, Dan Jr. and Julie both work for Heritage. Her husband, Dan, is also an integral part of the business, in many ways. Cathy has had the support of her husband of over 30 years, three children, and daughter-in-law Sarah from the start. Cathy is the proud grandmother of three grandchildren: Danny III, Anna, and Jason. Together we can take care of you or your loved ones in their home and pledge to provide quality care!
